Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working with on-air graphics and teleprompter operations or related fields OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven technical and visual understanding of Real-Time Graphics.
- Exhibits knowledge of Chyron Products, VizRT products, Adobe suite, or equivalent tools.
- Exhibits thorough understanding of graphics workflows for on-air.
- Fluency in the language of on-air show packaging and insert graphic elements is a must.
- Exhibits advanced understanding of Chyron design and animation techniques.
- Exhibits advanced understanding of creating templates for Camio and LUCI.
Desired Characteristics:
- Fluent in Spanish (both written & verbal) while it's preferred, it's not essential.
- Plug-in writing skills or understanding of C++, Java, and LUA in the Chyron environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in art, or related field preferred.
- Exceptional communication, time management, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter who exhibits ownership of assigned tasks and who will push for solutions that solve immediate problems while building toward long-term goals.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Accustomed to working in a team and collaborating with all levels within the organization.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and manage expectations.
- Ability to effectively be flexible in approach and respond well to pressure.
- Ability to lead and direct others, promote a positive work environment, and problem-solve.
- Process-oriented, good at identifying and implementing best practices.
- Change agent; creative and adaptable when facing challenges.

- As this is a critical operations position, candidate must be willing to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
- Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
- This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
