Technical Training Manager Charlotte, NC

Salary: $85,000

Job Summary

The Technical Training Manager develops and implements training programs for Franchisees on spray-on bedliners and branded products, and accessory installations. Responsibilities include advising on application techniques, troubleshooting spray equipment, leading demonstrations, creating educational materials, and supporting Franchisees and support staff. This role also involves driving accessory sales through collaboration with marketing and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with Franchisee's to train and offer technical support.
• Deliver training on bedliner application, equipment setup, surface preparation, and maintenance.
• Oversee spray equipment installation and provide hands-on training.
• Educate on brand standards and safety protocols.
• Analyze and resolve issues with coatings.
• Create and update training materials for bedliners and accessories.
• Monitor market trends and incorporate feedback to improve training resources.
• Serve as the expert for technical inquiries and warranty issues.
• Manage technical support hotlines and stay current on product updates.
• Promote products through training and develop sales strategies with marketing and operations teams.
• Recommend and manage equipment selection, installation, and maintenance.
• Advise on preventative maintenance and provide emergency troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Minimum: Associate's degree in automotive accessory installation or related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business.
• Experience:
• Minimum: 5-10 years in automotive accessory installation and 1-3 years in training.
• Preferred: Experience with franchises and multi-format training content creation.
• Skills:
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in IT and MS Office applications.
