    Summary: 

    Our award-winning client is seeking a Manager, Time Charging Compliance to join their team. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the client's financial integrity and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. You will report directly to the CFO and oversee all aspects of our time-charging practices.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Become a trusted advisor to client leadership, analyzing data and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor and analyze charging practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and strict adherence to company policies and government regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS, OMB).
    • Develop and update internal charging policies, aligning them with evolving business needs, industry standards, and client's Cost Accounting Standards.
    • Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
    • Generate insightful reports for management, highlighting trends and opportunities for optimization.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on charging compliance requirements.
    • Work closely with Finance, Internal Audit, HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and address any charging-related questions or concerns.
    • Offer support and guidance on financial initiatives and special projects.

    Required Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in defense contracting, with at least 3 years specifically focused on time-charging practice management. 
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
    • Knowledge of database structures for data extraction from ERP platforms (advanced Excel skills a plus).
    • Familiarity with government contracting regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS, OMB).
    • A proactive and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
