    Job Description

    As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for communicating NBCUniversal’s Advertising & Partnerships positioning and initiatives to the advertising ecosystem. You will manage day-to-day coordination of native, curated, thought-leadership experiences, both for internal and market-facing audiences, as well as conferences and industry events such as CES, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week, Upfront, etc.

    You will also play a key role in managing our CRM and marketing operations as well as our industry partnerships. Further, you will facilitate communications across various internal teams including trade marketing, creative partnerships, corporate events, corporate communications finance, and legal to keep all groups aligned and on track to meet our strategic goals.

    This position will report into the Director of Trade Marketing.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ideate compelling engagement ideas (both physical & virtual) to demonstrate and deliver on NBCUniversal strategic priorities and brand propositions in an endemic manner for inviting and engaging executional ideas at both industry conferences and NBCUniversal curated events.
    • Build and develop trade marketing campaigns that drive awareness of the benefits of being a partner (including sales materials, eblasts, sweepstakes, industry events & conferences, social campaigns, events and more)
    • Work with senior team members to support relationships with industry trade partners, as well as conference & event stakeholders.
    • Communicate objectives, strategy, and executional details to Ad Sales Leadership attendees for industry/conference/tentpole experiences, as well as communicating plans/recaps to overall Ad Sales organization.
    • Own the marketing communications process and calendar, as well as all communications sent to our larger marketing database (gather materials, create assets, coordinate amongst teams.)
    • Manage data systems, including Excel worksheets, Salesforce Account Engagement email system, Salesforce Trade Contact Lists, Splash Events Tool, and own other data-related projects as part of our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) ecosystem in partnership with the Trade Marketing Manager.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders and Industry and Partner Team Leadership to coordinate industry events, activations, special projects and requests.
    • Project manage pieces of larger events and projects.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ of experience with an agency, client, media company, or sales organization background.
    • Superior Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs; exposure to database tools, email marketing tools and/or Salesforce.
    • Must be agile and confident executing leadership’s direction in a fast-paced workflow.
    • Strong organization and project management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Exhibit core behaviors: clear and concise communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, detail oriented.
    • Should be a “Jack-of-all-trades” with a no task is too big or too small attitude.
    • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and travel as needed to support event efforts. Most events will be New York based and during the week, however, flexibility is needed.

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Monday and Friday virtual; Tuesday - Thursday on-site in our New York City office with the flexibility to adjust as business needs dictate.

    Salary range: $80,000 - $105,000 + sales incentive commission eligible
