    Job Description

    The Training & Retail Excellence Manager, East Coast & Central, supports business performance through comprehensive training (both virtual and in-store), oversight of new hire onboarding for BA’s and field team members, and continuous hands-on coaching & education in the field to ensure the Maison’s standards for excellence are being met and the client experience remains best-in-class. This position will drive consistency and performance by ensuring education tools are utilized across the field, as well as identifying and introducing training solutions that meet the unique needs of the business. The role will support account events where expertise is required, as well as new store opening trainings. This position requires regular travel and high touch visibility in store. The role will be based in New York City and require frequent travel across the East Coast & Central United States.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Training

    • Drive training & retail excellence for the region in partnership with Senior Director in order to implement and execute training solutions that drive elevated, consistent, and industry-leading training solutions as well as store performance
    • In partnership with Paris Maison HQ, deliver training solutions (virtual & in-person) that support luxurious brand experience, engagement, commercial goals, and artistic expression
    • Conduct seasonal training seminars for Beauty Ambassadors, Counter Managers, Business Managers and US Field Sales Team.
    • Conduct additional orientation training for newly hired Beauty Ambassadors/Business Managers in top doors and other doors as aligned on with Senior Director of Training
    • Invest 60% of time on the field, working alongside BAs of each retailer, with clear training outcomes and deliverables for the field
    • Develop and practice a variety of in-field practices, scenarios, roleplays, and coaching sessions with BAs that achieve brand expectations and a superior client experience
    • Upskill field leadership to consistently demonstrate best-in-class client experiences
    • Develop strong relationships within the Maison as well with all levels of store management teams and BA’s
    • Ensure the proper usage with the BAs of Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s onboarding & business fundamental tools, including use of digital training app
    • When needed, focus on key doors within each account. Partner with BAs and AEs to assist in development of these employees to bring them to next level.
    • Identify learning or behavior gaps and develop training tools / solutions that meet the unique needs of every store / counter.
    • Through written recaps, provide continuous feedback to Field Executive team, bringing awareness to progress, development, and opportunities of BAs
    • Cultivate partnerships with retailers to support openings of new stores.

    Events

    • Where events require the expertise of a Trainer ( i.e. Masterclass, Meet the Expert ), partner with field team to deliver exceptional event through skilled storytelling, strong facilitation, and engaging presentation that promotes loyalty among clientele and contributes to sales goals
    • Partner with Senior Director of Training & Events to align on event objectives, execution, and rehearsal
    • Ensure Events occurring within respective zone continuously meet brand standards and represent the Maison in positive light
    • Through Events, develop positive relationships within store staff and retailer leadership, as well as supporting retailer events.
    • Correspond on a regular and timely basis with the field team, ensuring that local business needs are met while in store.
    • Support elevation of experiential strategy and refinement of tools to support events
    • Support recapping of events to identify learns and optimizations for future planning

    Retail Excellence

    • Work together with Paris HQ to ensure pop-ups and other event/promotions uphold the correct brand experience
    • Drive vision for Retail Excellence standards in East Coast & Central region to ensure elevated standards are upheld and consistent in all points of distribution.
    • Drive retail excellence adapted to each partner and retailer
    • Support vision to continue to elevate brand as key luxury leader in the industry.
    • Partner with various NYO teams including marketing, sales, ecommerce and visual merchandising to ensure cohesion to the overall retail excellence standards.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of related field experience with training and events
    • Must exhibit the ability to develop strong relationships with various departments in each location to elevate training, maximize sales, cultivate strong relationships and collaborate with all levels of store management, including Store Managers, DM’s, PR, and visual leads.
    • Strong people skills to drive training and eventing across the organization
    • Must demonstrate strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
    • Possesses and demonstrates strong negotiation skills
    • Thrives on an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-oriented
    • Highest levels of professionalism at all times, calm under pressure, operate with high level of integrity at all times
    • Must possess expert business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic ability
    • Assist in data support and streamlining the reporting process

    • Ability for domestic travel and hours of work must be flexible to meet job objectives.
    • High touch store visibility with 60% of time planned to be spent in stores

    Additional Information

    LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.

    While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $95,000-$105,000.
