    Job Description

    NBC Sports Bay Area is hiring a Manager, Multi-Platform Video to lead our team of digital producer/editors. In this dynamic role, you'll focus on digital and social content, podcasts, studio shows, and live game productions.

    You’ll manage the workflow of our digital editors, understanding priorities and communicating effectively across multiple groups to consistently deliver high-quality video and audio content in various formats.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the workflow, output and scheduling of editors producing video content for digital platforms, podcasts, live events, studio shows, and special projects
    • Collaborate with digital leadership to set and meet digital video and podcast KPIs, and with studio and live events leadership on video production that raises the quality of that programming
    • Train editors on platform-specific video techniques so everyone can edit for all content types as required
    • Regularly communicate with the Sales department on video sponsorship obligations, and ensure they’re properly met
    • Train editors to write SEO-maximized video headlines and captions to ensure discoverability
    • Other responsibilities include performance management (yearly reviews, regular feedback conversations, etc.), cross-department communication and effective conflict resolution
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of five (5+) years of video production experience, preferably in sports
    • Demonstrated ability to manage creative multimedia projects across multiple teams
    • Understanding of data analytics to track success and inform decision-making
    • Proficient in using DSLR cameras, studio production, and live event production
    • Thorough understanding of digital video delivery (web, app, YouTube) and social media tactics (Facebook, Instagram, X)
    • Solid knowledge of Bay Area sports teams and general sports content that drives fan interest
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Proven experience working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to teach these tools
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a focus on developing team members
    • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
    • Calm, composed and pro-active approach to problem-solving in high-pressure situations
    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
