    JOB SUMMARY

    As Manager of Warehouse & Logistics Operations, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing team members to ensure the efficient operation of our inventory management and logistics processes, including, but not limited to, the organization, storage, and distribution of audiovisual equipment and materials within our warehouse facility. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that equipment is readily available for projects, maintain accurate inventory records, and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations. All work must meet the highest quality standards while assuring a professional and safe working environment. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will ensure that our installations exceed our esteemed clientele's expectations.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software; conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet project demands; coordinate with finance to replenish stock as needed; implement best practices for inventory control to minimize loss and maximize efficiency. • Warehouse Operations: Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatching of AV equipment and materials; enforce warehouse safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment; optimize warehouse layout and storage methods to maximize space utilization and accessibility; supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with project managers to fulfill equipment requests in a timely manner; plan and schedule deliveries and pickups, optimizing routes for efficiency; monitor transportation costs and seek opportunities for cost savings; address issues or delays in delivery promptly and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all equipment leaving the warehouse meets quality standards and is in working condition; implement quality control procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments; collaborate with the warehouse team to troubleshoot equipment issues and facilitate repairs or replacements as necessary. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including packing slips, invoices, and delivery receipts; generate regular reports on warehouse activities, such as inventory levels, shipping/receiving volumes, and performance metrics; analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to management as needed. • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate the warehouse team to ensure a positive and productive work environment. • Delegate tasks effectively, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and support as needed. • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, initiatives, and performance feedback. • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the warehouse staff. • Identify training needs and opportunities for skills development to enhance team capabilities and performance.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Required:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent such as a GED. • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Warehouse Management, Audio Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. • Certifications: OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.178(l)

    Preferred:

    • Minimum of 3+ years experience in warehouse management and inventory management software i.e. ProjX360, QuickBooks. • Ability to coordinate multiple team members in a high-paced environment. • Entry-level knowledge of Project Management and Project Coordinating
