HCT seeks an experienced professional to serve as the Manager, Women & Children's, at a 150 bed hospital in California. The Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- planning, directing and managing the patient care delivered to a designated population,
- maintaining accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling in collaboration with department director, and
- developing programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing highly preferred
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of manager experience in a union environment; must have a proven track record of success in improving patient experience, labor and delivery quality metrics, as well as a high degree of clinical proficiency, and effective communication skills
- License: Current California RN license required
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred
- Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
