    Job Description

    McDonald’s, one of the most recognized brands in the world, is seeking a Manager – Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance to support our cybersecurity team as we protect McDonald’s. You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts, market leads throughout the world , project managers, and Global Technology Solutions teams to drive the development, deployment, and maintenance of our global policies and standards and will govern global compliance to those standards. In addition, this role will be responsible for regulatory compliance (e.g., Sarbanes Oxley), third-party risk as it related to regulatory compliance, governance, and compliance. It will work closely with our partners in infrastructure & operations to govern foundational programs such as asset management and business continuity.

    This position will work with the Global Technology teams to improve the regulatory and controls environment though education, identification and implementation of control improvements. This includes recommending control design and operating effectiveness improvements. The position will include working with internal and external auditors.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement, and test Technology control systems: Design and establish systems to prevent or address violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
    • Evaluate control efficiency: Continuously assess the effectiveness of control systems and implement improvements as needed.
    • Revise procedures and reports: Periodically update procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
    • Draft and implement policies: Create, modify, and enforce company policies to ensure compliance.
    • Monitor compliance: Regularly review and monitor compliance with internal policies and legal guidelines.
    • Provide training and support: Train and support employees to ensure they understand and adhere to compliance policies.
    • Manage risks: Identify potential risks, develop strategies to mitigate them and maintain risk register.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with various departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance and address any issues that arise.
    • Design and implement control systems: Using programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram.
    • Test and troubleshoot systems: Ensuring systems operate correctly and efficiently.
    • Control assessment: Evaluating and improving control systems' performance.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders: Understanding requirements and ensuring optimal performance.
    • Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of control systems.

    The expected salary range for this role is $129,800 – $165,490 / per year

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • Programming proficiency: Experience with languages like Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Java, Python, or C++.

    • Control systems knowledge: Understanding and experience with PLC systems.

    • Problem-solving skills: Strong analytical abilities.

    • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

    • Experience: 7-10 years in control system programming and assessment.

    Desired skills

    • Experienced in key compliance and IT frameworks such as NIST, COBIT and, ISO27001.
    • Familiarity with complex multinational companies and distributed business models.
    • Experience and willingness to lead a 24x7x365 team and work non-regular hours.
    • Ability to interpret and understand business needs and convey such issues to information security teams.
    • Proficient in technical writing and demonstrating various creative mechanisms to communicate to diverse audiences.
    • Strong ability to assess urgency and prioritization and make good decisions based upon situation circumstances.
    • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP and PMP.
    • Experience in developing and implementing a Global enterprise metrics program.
