Purpose:
Develops strategies and drives, implements and manages initiatives and programs for all aspects of the human resources function to support the organization. Areas of accountability include payroll, compensation practices, benefits, health and wellness, safety, employee relations, recruitment and staffing, talent management and development, retention, organizational development, data management, and employment law compliance.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
Develops and executes HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Provides expert guidance on HR matters to management.
Contributes to organizational development and change initiatives.
Assures compliance with all relevant employment laws.
Manages HR operations effectively and efficiently.
Employee Lifecycle Management
Oversees all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
Creates and maintains a positive and inclusive work environment.
HR Program Development & Implementation
Designs and implements HR programs and initiatives, such as employee engagement, health and safety, and talent management.
Develops and maintains HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
Manages HR budgets and resources effectively.
Communication & Compliance
Develops and implements internal communication plans.
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Stays informed of industry trends and best practices.
Provides expert advice and support to management on HR-related matters.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Management or equivalent experience required.
10+ years Human Resources management experience to include exposure to compensation and benefits, staffing, employee development, training, and legal compliance.
Professional in Human Resource (PHR) certification preferred.
Advanced knowledge of employment laws, policies, and regulations.
Experience managing human resources computer application systems and data and reporting processes.
