    Job Description

    Red Wing Shoe Company is seeking a Channel Operations, Go-to-Market and Process Manager in support of our Global Industrial team. This role is responsible for partnering with Field Sales, Revenue Operations, and Cross-Functional Leadership to define and drive execution of annual financial and operational plans. Additionally, this role will support the development of our differentiated go-to-market strategies and operational processes. This candidate will need to take an analytical approach, identify, escalate, and act against revenue-related opportunities and risks within our industrial channel. Critically, they are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer to ensure corporate teams are delivering a remarkable, on-brand customer experience by operationalizing how our products, services and experiences are brough to market in a way that drives profitable, scalable growth.

    Essential duties include:

    • Be a strategic partner to Industrial leaders and COE teams to execute unified, customer-centric, long-range, and annual GTM strategies.
    • Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations and Cross-Functional teams to drive organizational alignment around active go-to-market initiatives to ensure flawless execution, process adherence and KPI delivery.
    • Partner cross functionally to foster innovation by researching new technologies, enhance communication and streamline processes.
    • Define and identify future customer segmentation and white space opportunities in partnership with Sales, Product, Marketing and Revenue Operations Leadership.
    • Identify and escalate opportunities and risks at the right time for the right stakeholders (Sellers, Sales Leaders, COE’s, Executive Team)​.
    • Work with Global Retail team and Retail Field Organization to analyze existing and planned business operations to identify optimal model(s) for market expansion, sales growth, and profit conversion
    • Manage assigned staff: provide clear goals and expectations, ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities, coach, manage performance, develop, salary administration, enforce systems, policies and procedures.

    This role will manage two direct reports.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, with at least ten years related experience and strategic retail leadership; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Global retail experience is preferred, with demonstrated experience leveraging customer analytics to drive business decisions.
    • Experience in end-to-end business process development and continuous improvement, resulting in organizational efficiencies.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong strategy, data analytics skills and customer driven focus.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience influencing and building relationships within a matrixed organization while taking a customer first approach.
    • Demonstrated ability to define operational efficiencies and processes, and to guide cross functional partners with implementation.
    • Strong financial acumen with ability to identify and manage through revenue related risks
    • Proficiency with technical systems such as CRM and other sales focused tools and technologies.
    • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships in a networked, geographically dispersed environment and get results through influence and collaboration with organizational partners.
    • Strong communication and analytical skills required, including the ability to interpret and articulate business needs and challenges.
    • Exhibits knowledge and ability to incorporate emerging industry and technology practices when solving business problems.
    • Understanding of sales incentive programs that align with business goals and drive expected behaviors.

    Work Environment:

    This role is a hyflex work arrangement; primarily remote work availability, but onsite work per business needs, located at our Red Wing, MN headquarters office.
