    Job Description

    ** BASIC FUNCTIONS**

    Lead a Team responsible for monitoring and Analysis of plant results, as well as forecasting, planning, and strategic business development related to the product areas within the plant.

    ** PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES** (*denotes essential functions as defined by ADA)

    • Prepare Monthly Business Report, compile and analyze Key Performance Indicators of the operation for sales, result, costs, working capital, investments, and personnel.
    • Business partner for the following areas: Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, Warehouse/Distribution, Engineering, Quality, and Services.
    • Daily and annual costing of materials.
    • Annual cost center planning and forecasts and analyses of variances.
    • Master data maintenance.
    • Analyses of material and plant variances.
    • Inventory valuation calculations, analysis, and accruals.
    • Stocktaking which includes inventory cycle count monitoring, annual stocktaking of production stock areas, and fixed assets.
    • Investment planning and justification.
    • Fixed asset project creation and investment analysis tracking as well as sales/disposals.
    • Month end plant result analyses, accruals, reserves, and account reconciliation.
    • SAP testing for new process and/or upgrades.
    • Skillful participation and leadership in many cross functional projects are critical to success.
    • Advise and actively participate with plant leadership team regarding steering of plant KPI’s.

    ** SCOPE FACTORS**

    • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial data and reporting for Business Unit, Regional, and Global Groups.

    ** COMPLEXITY**

    • High job complexity to understand data and financial impacts.
    • Manager must learn and understand the business.
    • Manager must learn and understand the financial impacts and flow of data.
    • Manager must learn and understand the multiple Bosch SAP systems.

    ** INTERACTION**

    • Daily contact with department personnel. Frequent contact with Plant Leadership, Engineering, Indirect Plant support departments, and NA and Global Bosch CTG. Frequent participation on cross function projects.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in accounting, or equivalent experience in the field required.
      • 5+ years Plant Controlling Experience
    • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & SAP
    • Knowledge and experience in Access and Power BI
    • Analytical mindset
    • Communication skills and mindset for working on cross functional Teams.

    Additional Information

    The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $156,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
