Our firm is seeking to fill a Managing Associate position available in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include recruiting, managing, and developing a team of Financial Representatives. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of sales experience. This candidate must obtain an insurance license if not already held. The Managing Associate role supports the Managing Director by enhancing marketing strategies and fostering team growth. The Managing Associate will facilitate joint appointments with Advisors and expand the client base while aggressively meeting production targets. There are many additional facets of this position including but not limited to focusing on recruiting, managing, and developing a team of Financial Representatives across various proficiency levels. Responsibilities: • Lead recruiting and training efforts to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in Austin, TX. • Source and hire competent Financial Representative candidates in Austin, TX. • Facilitate training and provide guidance to Financial Representatives, equipping them with the tools for success. • Provide mentorship to Advisors. • Monitor development and progress, and provide regular updates to the General Agent and Management Team to ensure the success and stability of each representative. • Periodically collaborate with field personnel to assess and enhance their sales, prospecting, and referral capabilities. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of sales experience in the insurance industry, with at least 3-5 years in field management or agency distribution systems. • The candidate will facilitate Joint Appointments with Advisors. • The candidate will also aid in Accountability for new Advisors. • Relevant work experience is required for the position of Managing Associate in Austin, TX, US. A 4-year college degree in Business or Finance is preferred but not required. • Candidate must obtain an insurance license. • While professional designations such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP are preferred, they are not mandatory. • Preferred qualifications include FINRA series 7 and 66 certifications. • Demonstrated success in firm building and recruitment is a plus for this role. Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000+ yearly
