    The Managing Attorney will act as a pivotal leader within the firm, responsible for overseeing attorney performance, driving the firm’s growth, and ensuring that our team continues to deliver high-quality legal representation. This is a hybrid role combining the strategic oversight of a COO with the expertise of a licensed attorney. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, and capable of developing and managing attorneys while setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the firm's continued success. The office is located in Forest Hills, NY. Responsibilities: • Leadership & Attorney Development: Lead and mentor a team of attorneys, providing guidance on case strategy, and legal tactics, and maximizing case value. Support their professional development through training and feedback. • Case Strategy & Oversight: Collaborate with attorneys on key cases to develop winning strategies, optimize case value, and ensure timely resolution. Oversee complex or high-stakes cases when necessary. • KPI Management: Set, track, and analyze attorney performance metrics, including caseload, settlements, and case outcomes. Regularly report on KPIs and make data-driven decisions to drive improvement. • Firm Growth & Expansion: Partner with the firm’s leadership team to develop and execute growth strategies, including expanding service offerings, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing client retention. • Quality Control: Ensure the highest standards of legal service are maintained across all cases, implementing quality control measures to enhance client satisfaction and case outcomes. • Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement processes and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal operations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and attorney productivity. • Collaboration & Team Building: Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment, promoting communication and coordination across departments, including legal, intake, and administrative teams. • Client Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with clients, handling escalations or complex cases when necessary, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the legal process. Qualifications: • At least 5 years of experience as an attorney • Active member of state bar and local bar associations • Active law license in NY. • Proven experience as a senior attorney, Chief Operating Officer, legal operations manager, or similar leadership role within a personal injury law firm. • Strong understanding of personal injury law, case strategy, and legal processes. • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, track performance, and drive results. • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. • Strategic thinker with a growth mindset, capable of contributing to the firm’s expansion. Compensation: $175,000 - $250,000 yearly
