Our client seeks to hire an experienced Managing Litigation Attorney, preferably with experience in Construction Litigation, The ideal candidate will have substantial trial experience, be capable of managing a caseload independently, and possess strong mentoring skills to guide a small team of junior associates.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court, including arguing motions during legal proceedings
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Provide strategic guidance and advice to associate attorneys and paralegals
• Lead trial proceedings, mediation, and arbitration efforts
• Prepare and manage essential legal documents
• Assign cases and follow up with associates
• Work closely with firm leadership to manage case progression
• Address issues with associates regarding billing or substantive work

Qualifications

• Admitted to the California State Bar
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the legal field, with at least 5 years of managerial experience
• Experience in construction litigation is preferred, but candidates with strong business litigation backgrounds will be considered
• Large firm experience is a plus
