    Growing Temecula Law Firm is seeking a talented and motivated Managing Attorney. Our staff members are highly knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly and we are looking to add someone to our team who values hard work and a cohesive working environment. We believe in a work-life balance; therefore, you will NOT be working 60-80 hours a week. We prefer that you have 5+ years of Family law experience and 3+ years of Civil litigation as an attorney. You must be a GREAT writer and an excellent communicator. If you enjoy writing motions, pleadings, Memorandum of Points, and Authorities, this position is for you. You must be comfortable with handling cases such as child custody and domestic violence restraining orders. You will work closely with other attorneys. • Our Managing Attorney is someone who loves communicating with clients and helping them move forward in a strategic fashion so they can reach their goals faster. • Our Managing Attorney takes the time to understand what brought the client in and what they genuinely want so we can orchestrate a plan using the legal process. • Our Managing Attorney takes the time to formulate a strategic plan to best position the client for the desired result and presents that strategy to both the client and the rest of the legal team that strategy so everyone in on the same page. • Our Managing Attorney performs legal services such as legal analysis, legal strategy planning, overseeing and analyzing discovery and legal pleadings, conferring with other attorneys, presenting to the court and advising clients to name a few. • Likewise, Our Managing Attorney understands the value of delegating to others on the team and creating a team approach to get more done in less time. Responsibilities: • Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses • Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients • Supervise and mentor lower level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques • Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings • Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels • Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs Qualifications: • Applicants must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience • Five years of experience as a senior associate in the legal industry • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills • Member of state and local bar associations in good standing Compensation: $175,000 - $250,000 DOE plus Bonuses
