    Direct Hire Opportunity - PART TIME

    20.00/HR - 22.00/HR

    The Database Assistant is a support position for the software database and software applications (Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, Classy and Apricot). On an ongoing basis, this position is responsible for ensuring the database is accurate as well as updated as needed. This position provides technical support to the staff to ensure effective use of the system, including monitoring usage by each member of the team, staff training and coordination with any database consultants or vendors.

    RESPONSIBLITIES:

    • The Database Admin will be responsible for working with users, handling questions and training.
    • Oversee and manage the cleanup of data in the current databases ensuring data integrity.
    • Under the guidance of the Database Manager, communication with vendors, staff and organization leadership to achieve established benchmarks and timelines.
    • Assist and ensure compliance with In-Kind and other gift acceptance and recognition procedures.
    • Proactively produce reports on program outcomes, fundraising, and volunteer program to present them to the management team to assist them in managing outcomes.
    • Produce and analyze data reports for trends, segmentation and other characteristics as needed.
    •  Assist in Auction and Registration software for events and online campaigns.
    • Train development staff on Salesforce modules for basic use.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of 2 years Salesforce admin with using NPSP
    • Must have high level of aptitude with Excel and Data Loader.
    • Salesforce Admin experience with the following functions is preferred: gift batch entry, Classy integration, Pardot, Outlook Integration, Volunteers for Salesforce, and forms assembly.
    • Proficiency in computer skills, including entire MS Office Suite.
    • Demonstrate professional writing skills.
    • Computer literate with Microsoft Suite: helpful if able to work with desktop publishing programs such as Adobe and Apple’s Pages. Must have familiarity with general office equipment such as copier and fax machine.
    • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and to complete and report on assignments.
    • Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to pay attention to detail and also remain oriented to the “big picture” and established goals.
    • Excellent organizational, management, and problem-solving skills.
