    Our client, with offices in South of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is looking for a talented Manufacturing Application Engineer to join their team. The chosen candidate will gain experience working on exciting projects in the Aerospace, Automotive and Building manufacturing space.

    This role is a direct hire, full time role with our multi-billion dollar industry leader.     What will you be doing?

    • Help manage our clients manufacturing application integrations with their other IT systems
    • You will help ensures project solutions align with our clients compliance standards (Arconic Self-Assessment Tests, ITAR, DFARS, SOX, etc.
    • Play an active role in support of our clients Compliance activities by performing annual system testing for adherence to IT System and SOX Audit requirements, assists SOX audit teams and internal audit teams as required, and performs Disaster Recovery testing as required.

    The ideal candidate will possess:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
    • 5 years’ minimum experience in a similar role.
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    To be considered at the top of the list candidateswill possess:

    • Previous COBOL experience
    • Working knowledge of SQL, PLSQL and some database query tools such as SQL Developer and/or SQL+
    • Any previous experience with VB.NET, C#, Java,  or C development
