Job Summary

We are seeking Manufacturing Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will learn about the methods and procedures used in our manufacturing operation and support the processing activities in a variety of ways. This may include preparing parts to go into the next process, performing specialized support operations, updating our manufacturing control system or other manufacturing related activities. This is an entry level position requiring no specific manufacturing experience, although some previous exposure to manufacturing activities may be helpful. This position prepares an employee for advancement into a variety of other manufacturing roles. Component Surfaces encourages Manufacturing Assistants to take advantage of advancement opportunities for positions in the company in the areas of processing, quality assurance and logistics.

Responsibilities

Parts handling

updating the manufacturing control system

learning and practicing safe operation

executing specialized operations

measurement, testing and inspecting materials

maintaining organization and cleanliness of manufacturing areas
