We are looking for a Manufacturing Assistant to support our Production Manager with various administrative and operational tasks. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can handle data entry, document verification, email communication, and other production-related administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location: Miramar, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: $17/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager with daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate production records.
- Check and review documents related to manufacturing processes for accuracy and compliance.
- Answer emails and communicate with different departments regarding production updates.
- Help coordinate production schedules and inventory tracking.
- Support in compiling reports related to production efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Ensure that all paperwork is properly completed, organized, and filed.
- Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative or manufacturing support role.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems (preferred).
- Strong data entry and document management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing industry is a plus.
