We need a skilled CAD Drafter for a temporary contract position to create detailed manufacturing drawings from existing CAD models. This is a short-term role supporting an aerospace model project. You will work closely with our CAD team and manufacturing crew to ensure that all parts are properly documented and ready for production. Your work will directly impact our ability to build high-quality components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Translate CAD models into clear, accurate, and detailed manufacturing drawings. • Ensure drawings include dimensions, tolerances, materials, and build notes for shop-floor use. • Work with engineers and fabricators to clarify design intent and manufacturability. • Maintain revision control and drawing documentation throughout the project. Qualifications: • Proficiency in a CAD/Drawing package. Onshape preferably, but SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or another CAD software would be fine. • Experience in creating manufacturing and fabrication drawings (preferably for large-scale assemblies). • Strong understanding of GD &T, tolerancing, and material specifications. • Ability to interpret complex assemblies and produce shop-friendly drawings. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Compensation: $35 - $50 hourly
