Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for RF cable assemblies and multiport signal cables. This role requires a strong understanding of RF technology, cable assembly techniques, and process engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach and a passion for improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop manufacturing processes for RF cable assemblies and multiport signal cables.
Optimize production workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Implement and maintain process control systems to ensure consistent product performance.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Train and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Ideally, Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the RF cable assembly or electronics industry.
Strong knowledge of RF technology and cable assembly processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620.
