Manufacturing Engineer - La Porte, IN
Emerge is seeking a qualified Manufacturing Engineer for a direct hire opportunity at a state-of-the-art casting facility supplying aerospace components to leading industry names. This role focuses on applying Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. Candidates must have experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and Lean and Continuous Improvement to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing activities to meet organizational goals.
• Develop and enforce standard policies and procedures.
• Establish and monitor manufacturing performance metrics.
• Set and achieve production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety, delivery, efficiency, and scrap reduction.
• Mentor and develop department staff to ensure high performance.
• Foster an engaged workforce and promote a positive plant floor culture.
• Implement data-driven improvements in systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with EHS to maintain compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Applied Engineering.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and total quality practices.
• Due to ITAR regulations, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Strong leadership skills that foster an engaged employee environment.
• Experience with tooling, molds, and dies in Casting, Injection Molding, or Stamping is preferred.

Compensation:

• Salary: $80,000 - $95,000/year, based on experience.
• Annual bonus: 5%.
