Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)

This role is well-suited for entry-level engineers or professionals with 1-2 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing and aerospace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed work instructions (MOTs), setup sheets, and process plans.
- Develop and verify machining processes for complex fabrications, including workholding, fixtures, cutting tools, and gauges.
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Provide process improvement expertise and identify the root cause of manufacturing and quality issues.
- Perform drawing reviews to assess product manufacturability.
- Create routers and work instructions for production processes.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in aerospace sheet metal fabrication, welding, forming, machining, and processing is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience developing machining processes for complex fabrications preferred.
- Proficiency with equipment such as brake presses, CNC punching machines, laser cutting machines, hydroforming equipment, CNC lathes, CNC mills, and welding.
- Experience with CAD software is required; SolidWorks and Mastercam are a plus.
- Familiarity with highly complex aerospace designs, materials, and OEM standards is desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
