    Summary:

    Our award-winning client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team! As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing plant operations and driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be essential in achieving the unit's goals.


    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with operators and functional groups to optimize plant operations and drive continuous improvement.

    • Monitor performance against targets, investigate deviations, and implement solutions.

    • Utilize resources to troubleshoot production issues and work collaboratively towards resolution.

    • Ensure compliance with work processes, evaluate and improve existing ones, and develop new processes as needed.

    • Investigate downtime and failures, identify root causes, and develop technical solutions.

    • : Coordinate trial activities with T&I and the operating unit.

    • Provide on-call support for troubleshooting and calculations.

    • Assist with documentation for facility operations and procedure updates.

    • Represent the unit on trial teams, reliability teams, and HAZOPs.

    • Provide statistical analysis for process improvements.

    • Assist with unit SAP recipes.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.

    • 1-3 years of related chemical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

    • Knowledge of unit operations, including reactors, distillation, heat transfer, and more.

    • Understanding of Flow Diagrams and Process and Instrument Diagrams.

    • Analytical skills for problem-solving, decision-making, and innovation. Six Sigma training is a plus.

    • Knowledge of chemical/industrial equipment, regulatory requirements, and safety systems.

    • Familiarity with test methods and pilot plant philosophy.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
