Position Overview
As the Manufacturing Equipment Repair Technician, you’ll be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment on the shop floor. From preventative maintenance to emergency repairs, you’ll help ensure everything runs efficiently and safely. You’ll be a go-to problem solver—part technician, part troubleshooter, all reliability.
The Ideal Candidate
- Highly experienced with mechanical equipment and shop-floor repairs.
- Comfortable with both routine maintenance and emergency troubleshooting.
- Proactive, organized, and safety-focused.
- Works well independently and communicates clearly with the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and scheduled maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery to reduce downtime.
- Follow maintenance work orders and respond to equipment issues quickly.
- Support preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
- Use CMMS or logs to document completed work and track repair history.
- Assist in root cause analysis and recommend long-term fixes.
- Communicate with team and escalate critical issues to leadership.
- Maintain strict safety standards during all repairs and inspections.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance or repair in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and diagnostic procedures.
- Experience with preventive maintenance strategies.
- Familiarity with CMMS or other digital maintenance tracking tools (preferred).
- Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations teams.

- Mechanical repair experience in a production or industrial setting.
