Machine Operator/ Heat Treat

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the startup, operation, clean up and shut down of the heat treat equipment and other production equipment.

Produce equal to or better than reasonable production standard and maintain a high standard of quality on all work done.

Set up and monitor materials during runs and check measurement.

Maintains and monitors quality and raises non-conforming materials and work with Supervisor to identify and implement resolutions.

Maintains a safe and orderly work area at all times ensuring 5S is practiced and sustained in daily activities.

Ensure all equipment and work areas are clean and that the equipment being used is properly lubricated.

Other duties as assigned, including cross training within the department and other areas of the plant.

Key Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

2+ years machine operator experience in a manufacturing production environment.

The ability to read, speak and understand English clearly

Competent math skills.

Dependable, effective team player willing to cross train and take on new duties

Must commit to the assigned work schedule and work overtime as required.

Excellent attention to detail and quality.

Must adhere to safety requirements including the use of personal protective equipment as set forth by OSHA guidelines.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
