Job Description

• Responsible for production molding and handling equipment to assure robust manufacturing performance.
  • Maintain operator molding standard work instructions, PFMEA matrix, document change checklist, etc.
  • Responsible for setup/maintenance of interfaces such as mold press and auxiliary handling equipment
  • Mold releases for new customers/projects
• Support the manufacturing function regarding IATF16949 and Bosch standard requirement
• Develop, maintain, and apply lean manufacturing principles (BPS) throughout the value stream with regards to equipment design, selection, layouts, and material flow.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, etc…).
• Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering and 3 years technical experience in molding
• Experience in high volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive industry preferred
• Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets
• Ability to travel (including internationally) for equipment acceptance/buyoff and IPN activities
