    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Assistant to join our team. This role involves overseeing the entire shipping process for finished tube products. Responsibilities include coordinating communication with both export and domestic dispatchers, ensuring the timely loading of finished goods, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance. The position requires close collaboration with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Accurately enter and process invoices into the company's database, ensuring all payment information, amounts, and due dates are correctly recorded.

    Input and monitor receivable material data, ensuring all incoming materials are logged in the system upon receipt.

    Track and update raw material usage against production needs. Maintain records of raw materials used, including quantities, dates, and batch information.

    Regularly update and maintain inventory records in the system. Track inventory levels, perform routine inventory audits, and flag discrepancies for investigation.

    Generate and assist with the creation of daily, weekly, or monthly reports regarding material usage, inventory status, and invoicing. Provide insights on material shortages, overages, and trends.

    Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered into the system, performing routine checks to confirm information is complete, correct, and consistent.

    Work closely with the production, purchasing, quality, and finance teams to ensure the accurate flow of data and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

    Act as the first line of contact for customers and vendors, responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels.

    Address and resolve customer and vendor concerns, complaints, or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues when necessary.

    Ensure all finished tube products are properly inspected, packed securely, and labeled according to customer specifications, including any necessary documentation or certification.

    Monitor and manage inventory levels of finished goods, ensuring proper stock levels for shipping needs and maintaining up-to-date records of all shipments.

    Maintain detailed records of shipping activities, prepare reports for management, and track key performance metrics related to shipping operations.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment

    Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, with an understanding of inventory control principles.

    Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities and proficiency in record-keeping.

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel

    Bachelor’s degree preferred, or at least 3 years of related work experience.

    Must be able to pass a federal background check as part of the hiring process.

    Mandarin language skills are a plus
