About Us: Ferla Bikes is a premier designer and manufacturer of electric cargo bikes, vending carts, and eco-conscious transportation solutions. With a mission to empower entrepreneurs and sustainable urban mobility, we have proudly led the industry for over 8 years. We are now seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse and inventory operations at our Azusa, CA facility.
Position Overview: As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the seamless coordination of production workflows, warehouse operations, and inventory control. This is an on-site, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a proven track record of leading operational teams to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the warehouse and manufacturing floor, including production, assembly, shipping, and receiving
Lead, coach, and manage warehouse and operations staff to achieve performance targets and maintain accountability
Develop and implement process improvements for greater operational efficiency and cost savings
Manage raw material and parts inventory using inventory management systems; maintain accurate stock levels
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to ensure timely production and fulfillment
Ensure all OSHA and workplace safety standards are met and maintained
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts
Generate operational reports for executive management and provide insights for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or warehouse management, preferably in the light manufacturing or mobility industry
Proven leadership and team management skills in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, logistics, and supply chain coordination
Experience with ERP or inventory software (e.g., Fishbowl, NetSuite, QuickBooks Commerce, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-driven mindset
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Forklift certification a plus
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and available for full-time, in-person work in Azusa, CA
