Job function: The MLB Operator position is responsible for prepping and plating nickel and gold onto exposed copper clad fiberglass material used for circuit boards by performing the following duties.

Shift: Days (7am-4pm, flexible)

1. Make chemical adds based off analysis.
2. Uses XRF machine to measure nickel and gold thicknesses.

JOB DUTIES

• Demonstrates the ability to multitask, being able to run multiple baskets simultaneously to keep multiple orders running through the line. They will be required to learn and efficiently run the XRF machine and the Enig line.
• Loads multilayer and double sided panels into Enig Line racks.
• Uses PLC controlled touch screen that controls Enig Line.
• Uses analytical balance to determine etch coupon weight loss.
• Uses XRF machine to measure nickel and gold thicknesses.
• Understands and communicates in English safety instructions, company polices and operational instructions.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Respectfully takes direction from manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
