Manufacturing Operator
Growing plastics manufacturing company is seeking to fill openings for both day and night shift Production Operators. We are looking for motivated individuals with the drive for success and teamwork. Responsibilities may include:
Picking and staging raw materials.
Precise weighing of materials for use during production.
Mixing of raw materials.
Control extruder process following given parameters and settings.
Ensure product conformity and carry out visual/physical inspections.
Monitor and maintain production records.
Troubleshoot process as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications include:
· High School graduate or GED.
· Ability to Lift 60 lbs.
· Certified to operate a forklift or willing to become certified
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
. Minimum of at least 1-year previous manufacturing experience ideally with background in injection molding or plastics extrusion.
· The ability for precise measurements, including use of scale.
· The ability to work overtime and/or flexible schedules including occasional weekends, as needed, to meet production demands.
· Knowledge of safe work rules.
· Must have good organization skills.
We will train you on our processes. Hours and shifts will vary based on needs.
