Job Description
The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality standards are met in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Machinery & Equipment:
* Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment according to safety and quality standards.
* Perform routine inspections and minor troubleshooting of machines.
- Production & Assembly:
* Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.
* Assemble, package, or inspect products to ensure they meet company specifications.
- Quality Control:
* Monitor product quality throughout production.
* Report defects or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Safety & Compliance:
* Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.
- Documentation & Reporting:
* Accurately record production data, downtime, and material usage.
* Communicate issues and improvement suggestions to the team.
