Position: Wood Molding Inspector

We are seeking a skilled and experienced full-time QC Specialist to join our wood manufacturing team. The QC Specialist is responsible for inspecting wood molding and collecting materials for the wood saw operators to cut picture frames to specific color, style, and dimensions according to production and quality control requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Inspect materials for flaws when delivered by manufacturers

- Pull and set up inventory for the saw operators according to job specifications

- Help inspect finished pieces for quality control and accuracy (including measurements and color)

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Perform routine housekeeping and organizing of materials in department

- Help support other areas of the wood cutting and assembling department

- Always follow safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to discern color and style

- Must read and interpret words and numbers for work order specifications

- Physical stamina to stand, lift, twist, and move materials for extended periods of time

- Strong attention to detail and precision

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills

- Must have reliable transportation

Preference:

- Proven experience as a quality control/quality assurance inspector, wood or metal saw operator, or similar role

- Experience in wood shops
