Our Manufacturing/ Quoting Engineer will work directly with Accu-Fab's engineers in a hands-on, action-oriented environment. Experience in engineering support within a manufacturing operation is desired, sheet metal is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Will work in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Read drawings, do material take offs using understanding of fabrication/manufacturing capabilities.
Build appropriate quotation packages that include labor rates, material cost and usage, machine time, freight, etc.
Review complex quotes with senior management as necessary.
Track status of jobs and ensure proper authorization prior to submitting projects to manufacturing (ex: contract, PO, signed quote). Review accuracy of PO's.
Ensure proper documentation for projects to include qualifications sheets, drawings, design/engineering notes, budget/cost tracking sheet, etc.
Review project scope in detail with project management team.
Maintain material pricing reference lists, outside vendor and subcontractor lists, and market value lists.
Field technical inquiries from customers. Assist sales teams as needed by responding to technical questions regarding company products.
Learn to operate company ERP system to facilitate projects within the company.
Will assist with design occasionally

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Mechanical aptitude
Quick learner

Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with team members across various departments
Strong organizational skills with sense of urgency to drive things to completion
