    DIRECT | MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR | Overland Park, KS area

    We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing/Production Supervisor to oversee production operations in the Overland Park, KS area. This role involves managing resources effectively and maintaining high-quality manufacturing processes. A background in engineering or business, along with mechanical expertise, is essential.

    Team: 4 Production Supervisors and 3 Warehouse/Distribution Supervisors currently

    Shift: First Shift

    Key/Basic Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage production operations.
    • Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
    • Monitor performance and implement improvements where necessary.
    • Experience in wood-related manufacturing is highly desired

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Lead and supervise manufacturing staff to meet production goals and quality standards.
    • Develop and implement production schedules for timely order completion.
    • Collaborate with teams to improve production processes and product quality.
    • Monitor production metrics and implement improvements as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
    • Provide technical support and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
    • Train and develop staff for enhanced performance.
    • Work with engineering and quality control on process improvements.
    • Maintain accurate production records and assist in inventory management.
    • Promote a positive work environment through effective communication.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business related), will consider experience in lieu of degree
    • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of industrial equipment.
    • Proficient in production planning and reporting software.
    • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration
    • Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred) with strong communication skills (required)
