Manufacturing Technician
Job Overview: As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll ensure products meet specifications and high-quality standards through assembly and packaging. You’ll work with engineering-provided instructions to complete and inspect assemblies and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble product subassemblies and final units; troubleshoot equipment or product issues.
Test products/subassemblies for functionality and quality.
Perform mechanical and electrical/optical assemblies using calibrated tools and test equipment.
Operate production equipment in compliance with manufacturing standards.
Assist engineers with prototype builds and testing for new products/processes.
Follow all safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspaces.
Complete tasks with minimal supervision using schematics and written instructions.
Additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
HS diploma and an Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Electronics.
1-2 years of experience in electronic manufacturing.
Proficient with machines, tools, and their maintenance.
Knowledge of engineering, design, circuit boards, and computer hardware/software.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics.
Troubleshooting and decision-making.
Operation monitoring and repair skills.
Experience with electronic test equipment (e.g., Hipot, power meters, multimeters).
