Position Overview:
Seeking a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Technician to perform various shop functions, including assembly, sub-assembly, rotomold trimming, parts washing, and material handling. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring flexibility and cross-training across multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill in for or support various shop roles, including assembly, sub-assembly, washing, rotomold trimming, shipping/receiving, and storeroom operations.
- Utilize hand and power tools such as pneumatic torque wrenches, screwdrivers, electric drills, taps, and glues for assembly and finishing tasks.
- Assemble and test manufactured products according to work instructions, work orders, engineering drawings, and sketches.
- Pull and prepare materials necessary for sub-assembly following the Bill of Materials.
- Inspect final assemblies to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Stock supplies , maintain inventory accuracy, and transport parts and finished goods to meet production and shipping schedules.
- Receive and unload deliveries, verify contents, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Prepare and pack products for shipment with appropriate materials.
- Load, unload, operate, and perform daily maintenance on an automatic parts washer.
- Cross-train in multiple job functions to support operational flexibility.
- Overtime is required as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Background in the fluid power industry is a plus.
- Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to various roles.
- Proficiency in using basic hand and power tools.
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Salary info:
$22 - $30 / hr
