Summary – Manufacturing Technician - Saw Operator:
The Saw operator is responsible for handling saw requirements for the plant and helps assemble finished products. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment. This role works independently and is expected to be self-driven, but also have the ability to follow directions. Ability to read production drawings is important.

Shift: 4-10's Monday-Thursday from 6am-4:30pm
Responsibilities – Manufacturing Technician - Saw Operator
- Set up and operate the automatic production column saw to meet production needs
- Verification of conformance to specifications by reading/using tape measure or other tools
- Assemble products according to blueprints
- Forklift operation or willing and able to be trained to safely operate a forklift
- Must identify, store, stack, organize and stage product.
- Replace defective cutting blade or wheel
- Completes and maintains paperwork on materials
- Other preventative maintenance as required.
- Assists in other work areas as required, and applicable to skill set.
- Must be able to read blueprints effectively
- This role is expected to follow approved processes to provide finished goods with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.
- Keep an organized work area in order to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
- Interact daily with production supervisors to communicate progress and take additional instruction
Qualifications – Manufacturing Technician - Saw Operator
- High School diploma or equivalent GED
- 3+ years of experience in heavy fabrication
- Quality minded
- Orderly, clean, organized and neat
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to take ownership of work
