Currently we are looking for Lead Ambassador to join our family! The Lead Ambassador at Maple Street Biscuit Company is responsible for ensuring we meet our second principle, Gracious Service.
It is so much more than a cashier. Although they are responsible for ringing up guest orders accurately, an Ambassador welcomes our guests with a smiling face and explains the way Maple Street works. An Ambassador is the first introduction new guests get to Maple Street.
The Lead Ambassador will be responsible in creating the Maple Street “WOW” experience from the moment the guests step until they leave the store. Their main duties are to connect with our guests, explain Maple Street to them, ring up orders, increase sales, answer questions, and ensure the lobby is kept immaculately clean.
This individual has to be comfortable with conversing with guests on a personal level and handling difficult situations.
In addition to engaging with the guests, the Lead Ambassador has the ability to multitask between helping the team in various position and completing daily cleaning tasks.
The Lead Ambassador should take pride in remembering our regulars name and living out our mission every day.
The Lead Ambassador must have excellent communication skills to be able to romance our food to our guests.
The Lead Ambassador should make it their goal to increase ticket size by offering our guests additional items or suggesting new items the guest may enjoy, they will do this in a genuine and authentic way.
The Lead Ambassador must be able to walk our guests through the Maple Street experience.
The Lead Ambassador is a full-time position and will generally work between the hours of 6-3 (we close at 2pm everyday) Monday-Sunday, but this is subject to change based on the needs of the store. This person is responsible for hiring, training, and managing the tasks of the other Ambassadors at the store.
