    Purpose of Role:

    Marex is seeking an individual for the US Power Sales role. This person should be an experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for a US Power and Natural Gas sales portfolio. Senior level position with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationship with clients and find new ones to bring flow.

    This role covers the US Power department within the Energy Market Making division. As an experienced market making team Marex provides direct access to liquidity throughout the US Power space across the major exchanges. We also leverage our strong credit profile to offer lines of credit to facilitate hedging on a bilateral basis.

    ** Responsibilities :**

    • Sales role dealing in products across the US Power and Natural Gas asset classes
    • Corresponding with clients, of all types and variety to support growth of the business.
    • Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
    • Facilitating ISDA negotiations with the client and Marex stakeholders
    • Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
    • Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology.
    • Strategizing to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products.
    • Ensuring compliance with the company's regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges.
    • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
    • Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values.
    • At all times complying with Marex's Code of Conduct and any other relevant regulatory body's conduct policy
      • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
      • To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
      • To escalate risk events immediately
      • To provide input to risk management processes, as required

    Skills and Experience

    • Minimum three (3) years experience in US Power and Natural Gas sales and established client base and book of business
    • Proactive mindset in keeping up to date with market research and incorporating into role efficiently
    • Analytical skills, identifying opportunities and risks in a quick and decisive manner
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
    • Substantial experience working in and knowledge of Energy product area
    • Experience of the infrastructural support required to efficiently support Energy business lines
    • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
    • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

    Salary Range: $150,000 to $270,000 per year base salary and eligible for discretionary bonus.
