We are dedicated to hiring the most well-qualified people to join our team. We are currently seeking a full-time Marine Carpenter.
Job Summary:
Grand Banks Yachts Services Marine Carpenter or Marine Carpenter Apprentice will be responsible for planning, executing and completing a wide range of finish carpentry tasks aboard vessels. The ideal candidate will bring a working knowledge of the materials and tools used to create and modify various yacht components.
Responsibilities:
Perform carpentry projects aboard Eastbay, Palm Beach and Grand Banks Yachts as well as other vessels.
Construct floors, doors, boxes, rails and trim using woodworking machines, hand tools and power tools.
Repair structural woodwork and replace defective parts and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
Install prefabricated or custom parts such as hatches, marine hardware, metal trim and other components.
Qualifications:
Ability to operate, service and maintain a wide range of hand and power tools.
Proficient in field measurements and computations using tape measure, square and lasers.
Knowledge of woodworking joints in the marine industry.
Capable in the layout and execution of industry standard joinery including scarf, lap, finger, dovetail, mortise, miter and box.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have valid driver's license.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8 hour shift
Overtime as needed
Weekends as needed rarely
