    Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Technician with at least two years of hands-on experience in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of boats and marine equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of marine systems, engines, and electrical components, with the ability to diagnose and fix issues quickly and efficiently. This role requires a passion for the marine industry, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various marine vessels, including engines, electrical systems, propulsion systems, and onboard electronics.

    Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in boats and watercraft, providing accurate assessments and cost-effective solutions.

    Conduct routine inspections and maintenance, such as oil changes, battery checks, and replacing filters, to ensure boats are in optimal operating condition.

    Repair and replace damaged or malfunctioning parts, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

    Install and configure marine equipment, including GPS systems, navigation devices, radios, and other electronic systems.

    Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding boat operation, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting.

    Maintain detailed service records and documentation for each vessel serviced.

    Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in marine equipment and repair.

    Requirements:

    Minimum of two years of experience as a Marine Technician or in a similar technical role in the marine industry.

    Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

    Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software used in the marine industry.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

    Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and schematics.

    Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to customers.

    Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

    Marine Technician certification or equivalent training is preferred.
