We are looking for a Marker Maker team member who is energized by a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has an eye for detail and is skilled at team collaboration. This position works alongside the Cutting department management team while creating marker files, looking for ways to minimize production time and maximize materials. The ideal candidate is always looking for new, better ways to be efficient and wants to be cross trained in all the functions of apparel manufacturing.

Job Duties may include:

Creating markers using Optitex Software

Communicating order information to the Cutting department

Communicate and collaborate with Planning manager on schedules with estimate timelines

Maintaining clear, accurate and organized storage of all marker files

Convert Optitex markers files to Gerber cutting files (training will be available)

Assist Development team in verifying material usages

What you need to have:

Minimum 1+2 years experience in marker making in manufacturing , apparel manufacturing preferred

Ability to effectively communicate with people in the work area of various backgrounds and ethnicities

Good verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on efficiency and clarity

Good practical experience with MS Office and comfortable with technology

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Self-starter with the ability to set deadlines and adhere to them to meet goals
