Role Overview
As a Market Development Representative , you will be responsible for prospecting, outreaching, and onboarding new partners while nurturing existing accounts to drive qualified referrals to Magnolia. You will act as a local champion for Magnolia, forging relationships with healthcare providers, senior care organizations, and other community partners. Your success will be measured by new partner acquisition, engagement levels, and the volume of qualified referrals generated.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Outreach
- Identify and research potential partners (e.g., clinics, hospitals, senior care services, community organizations).
- Conduct outreach via email, phone, and in-person visits to generate interest.
- Develop tailored pitches to align with each partner's needs.
- Partner Onboarding & Relationship Management
* Facilitate seamless onboarding of new partners, ensuring they understand how to refer caregivers to Magnolia.
* Conduct training sessions for partner staff on Magnolia's platform and services.
* Maintain regular check-ins with partners to drive engagement and optimize referral volume.
- Driving Qualified Referrals
* Implement strategies to maximize referrals from partners.
* Monitor referral trends and troubleshoot any barriers to adoption.
* Collaborate with internal teams to refine the partner experience based on feedback.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
* Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and active partners.
* Track outreach, onboarding progress, and referral activity using [CRM tool, e.g., HubSpot].
* Meet or exceed monthly sales targets related to partner acquisition and referral volume.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management , preferably in healthcare or senior care.
- Specific experience selling into sales partners like healthcare providers , hospital systems , or senior living facilities.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Comfortable with both in-person and virtual outreach.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales tracking methodologies.
