They are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Research Sales Operations Analyst to join their team. Equipped with AI curated datasets, you will be responsible for validating & conducting in-depth market research, analyzing customer behavior, and providing actionable insights to drive sales strategies and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, market research, and sales operations, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., Web Scraping, Proprietary & Syndicated Datasources, CRM, surveys, sales data) with the aim of vetting & building growable sales territories.
Conduct primary and secondary research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Track and measure the effectiveness of various sales territories and books.
Develop and maintain customer segmentation models to support targeted marketing and sales efforts.
Monitor industry trends, emerging markets, and competitor activities to inform business strategy.
Assist in the development of sales forecasts, quotas, and territory planning based on market and customer insights.
Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to align research findings with business objectives.
Present research findings and insights to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
Act as a bridge between data analysis and strategic decision-making, ensuring insights are actionable and impactful.
REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience in market research, data analysis, or sales operations.
Proven experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) and statistical methods.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
