Job Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team! As our Marketing Assistant, you will be working closely with the Marketing Department to support overall marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with WordPress, Canva, content creation, and social media management to support our marketing initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Responsibilities
Create, edit, and post social media marketing of all kinds, including text posts, pictures, informative long-form articles, and video content.
Assist in managing and updating the company website using WordPress.
Create, edit, and publish engaging content for blogs, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
Manage and schedule social media posts across various platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and analyze performance metrics.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop digital campaigns and promotional materials.
Assist in designing graphics and visual content using tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for content strategy.
Support SEO efforts by optimizing web content and implementing best practices.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or a related field.
Proficiency in WordPress for website updates and content management.
2+ years practical experience of video and audio editing preferred.
2-3 years of Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite- Illustrator preferred).
Proven experience in email and SMS marketing, preferably in the SaaS Software sector.
Strong artistic vision and ability to create visually compelling designs that effectively communicate a message or idea.
Keep up to date with new technology and industry trends, and continuously improve their skills and techniques.
Collaborative and team-oriented with strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
Strong writing and editing skills for blogs, emails, and social media.
Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication and teamwork abilities.
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
