Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Marketing Team to complete projects and campaign tasks in a timely manner and the promotion of the various company brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Represent The Chef’s Garden by communicating the mission, vision, and culture statements of The Chef's Garden, Inc. in every interaction with guests, guest chefs, friends of the farm, fellow staff, media entities, vendors, sponsors, and partners.
Support the Marketing Team in preparing printed and digital marketing collateral, video, voice recordings, sales campaigns, photography, event coordination, chef visits, social media, and mailings.
Organize and maintain the archive of images, newsletters, and other historical information including proper tags, definitions of tags, and catalog content.
Assist with internal communication needs including email setup, announcements, news, and on-hold messaging.
Prepare regular marketing, sales, and product reports.
Participate in developing ideas to succeed with marketing campaigns and other projects as assigned.
Assist with ordering products and setting up for sales meetings.
Assist with inventorying, ordering, and packaging retail products.
Take notes at marketing meetings and update assignments on project lists as needed.
Display excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills with staff and guests alike.
Promote a positive, clean, and safe work environment with clear and friendly communication.
Perform any other duties necessary to meet job responsibilities.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in marketing, communications or related field and 1 – 3 years of experience in the marketing
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive is required.
Working knowledge of email and social media platforms including MailChimp, Klaviyo, Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You Tube and Linkedin is preferred
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and time management ability.
Collaborative team player, creative, assertive, and a desire to learn.
