AECOM is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include a combination of in-office presence and virtual/telecommute based in either Phoenix, AZ

This position is expected to begin in May 2025

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Works with a variety of technical and marketing staff
• Works under general supervision and collaboration with the Business Development Team
• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English with an emphasis or specialization in Social Media or similar discipline, and must have completed at least 3 years of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and Twitter
• Knowledge of social media publishing platforms
• Ability to work remotely using web-based platforms for meetings and project collaboration
• Understands marketing and communications
• Hands-on experience / previous internship experience using social media to promote an organization, group or business
• Knowledge of social media analytics and social listening tools
• Background in understanding and providing metrics-based recommendations to improve engagement and increase followers
• Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
