The Content Specialist will play a crucial role in developing and executing content strategies that enhance our brand presence, support our marketing initiatives, and engage our target audience. By collaborating closely with the cross-functional team, this role is responsible for creating compelling, technical, and high-quality content that aligns with our brand, engages our audience, and supports our marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop clear, engaging, and compelling content for a variety of platforms including websites, blogs, press social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral
Optimize content for search engines using relevant keywords and best practices to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to the company website
Own the website content management and email marketing platforms, ensure accuracy and relevance
Engage with the audience through social media channels, responding to comments and messages promptly
Conduct customer interviews to gather insights on their experience and satisfaction levels, and to collect use cases and case studies
Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization
Ensure that all content aligns with the company’s branding and messaging guidelines, maintaining a consistent tone and style across all digital and printed materials
Contribute to the development of content strategies and plans, providing insights and recommendations based on content performance
Maintain and update the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all content assets
Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed
Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on content standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality outputs
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
3-5 years of content creation and management experience, preferably in the B2B or manufacturing industry
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, and familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot
Experience with SEO best practices and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMRush)
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
Ability to take direction and feedback, applying it to enhance content quality and effectiveness
